It’s an entertaining ’90s disaster thriller with Stallone as a grounded hero. The tunnel sequences are genuinely suspenseful & the trapped survivors provide stakes. While formulaic at times, the practical effects & human drama create an engaging experience.

This, demolition man, assassins or cliff hanger, not sure which one they replayed more on TV. Was entertaining hero movie. Solid 6/10 for the Sly golden era.

A very enjoyable suspense thriller that leans heavily into the claustrophobic feel of the plot. Stallone nails it, per usual. Worth the watch for casual action flick lovers.
