Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Matt Reeves takes over to improve on everything the original did. The emotional beats of this hit hard and so does the cinematography. The clash of ideology is good and it's awesome you feel this much for cgi creatures. Andy Serkis is the master at mocap characters.

I think Dawn was better than Rise but I also think some of the CGI looked off. Maurice is still the best character, fight me if you think I'm wrong
