I love the soundtrack.

Watched the 3h version and it was thrilling! Slow paced at times but rightfully so. First movie that had me sympathizing with Nazis, quite the moral dilemma tbh but interesting. Tremendous acting and many actors that I recognized, that have seemingly started their career here.

I won’t talk to you if you haven’t seen the longest cut.

Honestly it was amazing. I was locked in. I was scared. I was suspended. My head hurt whenever they went under. I’m just that empathetic 😛💔

Very suspenseful, humanising and ABSOLUTE CINEMA!

It really does give a good perspective shift of servicemen during WW2 and is not afraid of showing of portraying the men as your friends and enemies.

Also German does sound dope.

Riktigt jävla bra. Kollade på hela directors cut versionen, så mitt enda klagomål är att den kändes lite för lång. Längden blev dock viktig för att kunna visa hur röv ubåtslivet kunde vara. Grym regi, asbra spänning vid ALARM-scenerna. Bra skådespelare.

Beautiful movie about the stupidity of war

Being able to watch the Director Cut version made it all the more worthwhile.

A long epic that’s worth the watch. Can be slow at times but I think that’s part of what makes this movie so good. Action is great. Feels detailed and draws you into the life of being a submariner during WWII. Just do yourself a favor and watch the undubbed version.
