Holy shit this was bad.

The movie turns that childhood fear of the dark into its main weapon. You don't need to see the monster clearly because your imagination starts doing the work. The Tooth Fairy gives that fear a face. Light means safety, darkness means you’re already dead.

I was terrified of this when I was younger, watching it now made me realize how funny it actually was

It was good. The pacing held up, visuals were sharp, and the performances felt authentic. Some scenes dragged, but overall, it left a strong impression.
