Darkest Hour

Pro tip—if you watch this right after “Munich: Edge of War” (also on Netflix), the story picks up right where it left off. Gary Oldman is incredible.

It's a film that delivers you everything you'd expect from it, handsomely produced, confidently crafted and risk-free. From the 4-star lead performance from Oldman to the expert direction from Joe Wright, Darkest Hour is a rousing success.

Great film. I thought it would be the slow and mildly uninteresting film, and even though it was the slow-type of movie, I really liked it. And just a great performance from one of my personal favorites Gary Oldman.

Probably one of Gary Oldman’s most astonishing performances, this film, although slow, is both riveting in its drama and its ability to create tension. The writing is sharp and impressive and every scene was honestly very well fabricated. Amazing performances as well. 8.9/10!!!!!
