As someone who didn't read the book, I thought that the movie was a great murder mystery thriller! Maybe I'm used to slow burns but I thought the pacing was good and of course the acting was great!

Not good. Kinda dumb. Felt like it had potentially but missed the mark. Wife said the book is way better.

This story really is dark, and really does go to some Dark Places. This is a really good mystery/thriller, it sucks you in and doesn’t let go because you want to know exactly what happened, and the truth is never as simple as it seems!

hated their characterization of libby, indicative of the time this was made. idk why they refused to make the days redheads like in the book it’s kinda critical to a lot of the plot. heard about every other gillian flynn adaptation but this one, i know why now

6/10 read the book prior to watching the movie. Great movie, but think they could have done better with the main character. Love Charlize Theron, but she wasn’t the “sad” Libby Day I imagined.

First off, the book changed the trajectory of my life. It is a masterpiece. So maybe I’m biased but well done ❤️ of course the book was better

Slow slow slow

Not my favorite movie. But Charlize Theron is extremely talented. In case anyone didn’t already know that.

Charlize Theron, Tye Sheridan, and Chloë Grace Moretz are just magnificent in bringing Gillian Flynn’s characters to life in this film. 10 out of 10
