This is is like if the matrix were a crime noir thriller. Some of it is dated but it’s extremely interesting. Watch the 4k scan it help lift the quality of this movie drastically.

I was surprised back then when I discovered how close it was to the concept of The Matrix. The SFX are obviously far from that, but this precursor is cool for the distopian genre

Similar to the matrix but the year before the matrix. Cool vibes. Good background watch.

It’s definitely a unique idea but we just jump into this world alongside, not knowing anything like the protagonist. It has the noir style of Blade Runner mixed with the reality-bending mystery of The Matrix before The Matrix even existed.

Wild movie. Very interesting plot set in a dark and twisted world. Falls a little short but worth watching.

Very unique story, i appreciated that, but it’s too cheesy to take seriously unfortunately. If they did a remake for this i would probably love it though

Wtf us this movie. Its okay. Bit confusing

First time watching in many many years. This time on 4k Blu-ray. Looked and sounded amazing. Story is out there. Lots of parallels to the matrix. Glad I own it. But probably won’t rewatch for a while.

Underrated 90s sci-fi

Visually stunning Sci-fi noir. The cinematography, lighting and scale of the sets are fantastic and the story is layered and well written. The movie felt like a mix between The Matrix and The Truman Show 9/10

WATCH THE DIRECTORS CUT!! DO NOT LOOK UP ANYTHING ABOUT THIS MOVIE BEFORE WATCHING!! oh my god this movie was so fucking thrilling and exciting the entire way. highly cerebral and surreal, and such a unique story/experience. you will love this movie! absolutely a new favorite!
