Unapologetically LOVE this movie. Right up there with Twister as my disaster comfort movies

I forgot how genuinely f-ed up this is 😅 but it’s a great disaster movie! And for a late 90s movie, the film effects are pretty incredible.

Grandma is annoying. But other than that, it’s an exciting film with an incredible effects undertaking that turned out really astonishing.

One of the better disaster films from the 90s. Love all the practical sets and effects. I wish they still made movies like this. 8.5/10

I saw this in elementary school, and was totally scarred. This movie was completely freaky traumatizing in 6th grade. Made such a terrifying impression on me for years. Too scared to rewatch.
