I was told by my best friend that I had to check this out. While I will say the animation was both amazing and brutal. I was a little bit bored with the story. Maybe I just wasn’t in the right headspace for this, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I was.

Badass the animation is awesome.

I was captivated by the film's dark fantasy world and imaginative take on Dante's poem. Based on the video game of the same name, this adult animated film follows Dante as he travels through the nine circles of Hell to save his beloved Beatrice from Lucifer.

An absolute bloodshed helmed by various animation studios to create a wild ride through hell

Some cool animation and story obviously good but left no room to let things breath and animation kept drastically changing so stakes weren’t really present

Just a cool story and sick animation of a medieval dude fighting hells demons and his own demons. The animation changing throughout can be jarring at times, and sometimes the voice doesn't match the animation, but it's still really pretty and badass when it should be.
