Dallas Buyers Club Reviews

I started this after seeing Matthew’s speech at the Oscar’s and I was blown away by his performance. This film is full of emotion, relationships and a story so perfectly crafted in Mcconaugheys acting. An Oscar truly deserved.

The only thing saving this movie from a meh is McConaugheys insane acting ability. Very overrated

Alright, possibly the worst ending I’ve ever seen. Disappointing because of that, extremely

Carried by acting

Vellée’s attempts to transform reality into a varité-styled exposé are degraded into a purely human interest story once McConaughey and Leto have finished showcasing their astounding ability to drop weight and hand themselves over to their characters.

Great film. Phenomenal acting throughout. Definitely not disappointed.

Amazing performances from Matthew and Leto

Wow what a movie, went in blanco but this movie still surprised me. Very interesting but beautiful story. Ofcourse Matthew is the GOAT, he was almost unrecognisable in this.

Truly one of McConaughey best performances

While the film is not really my cup of tea, it delivers some of the best performances I have ever seen from McConaughey and even Leto. The depth on top of the great character development and overall engagement level not only made this film good, but memorable as well. 8.6/10!!!!!

Good Dramatised biography film. Competing with the likes of wolf of wall street. One of Matthew McConaughey’s best performances.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In between like and love

7.5/10
It’s a real shame McConaughey had a generational run with this, True Detective, and Interstellar then proceeded to never do anything interesting again
