This will go down as one of Lee’s best films, such a shame it was dropped right at the beginning of COVID. This is the performance Lindo should’ve won an Oscar for!

I’ve only seen a handful of Spike Lee Joints, and this one has an absolutely stacked cast! Some really good action sequences with a lot of gory kills! It was pretty much everything I was expecting. Overall a pretty entertaining joint about how wars never really end.

Beautifully shot film with an all time performance from Delroy Lindo who is becoming one of my favorites. His monologue where he is looking at the camera might be my new favorite Spike Lee scene.

a story about 4 Vietnam vets who go back to Vietnam in search of gold.

This film told several stories that don’t usually get told. It’s filled with stories of black struggles, but more importantly, black brotherhood. This film is one of a kind, truly.

Felt like a Ugandan movie

Full of emotion and heart pumping drama, Da 5 Bloods is one of Spike Lees most powerful and impactful films. I only wish I could’ve seen this in theaters. 8/10
