couldn’t even finish the movie it was so bad and weird and christian was awesome but the girl was kinda weird and expected too much

Peter Dinklage singing! Need I say more 8/10

Masterful

One of my all time favorite musicals. The story is emotional, Peter Dinklage is incredible in the lead role and the songs are phenomenal.

I remember this coming out and being interested by it. Honestly, not my favorite but I do think it had some touching moments. the song the solders sing going into battle genuinely moved me. Worth a watch if you like period piece musicals.

Didn't know it was a musical and had no real expectations going into this but found it to be quite lovely. Dinklage is unbelievably good as always. Also didn't know that the guys from The National did the score, which made the music unusual for a film but also super familiar

This has SO much potential. The acting was so well done, and the atmosphere and costuming were superb. But the music felt misplaced/lackluster for what it could have been.
