8.5 - a warm hug of a movie. It’s bright, silly, light, and innocent. It has perfect voice casting and even better music (Upside Down has been a playlist staple since ‘06). And the fact that it was able to keep my 3yo locked in the entire time is a huge win.

What an absolute cutie

one of my favorite animated films ever. this meant so much to me as a kid, saw it in theaters on a first grade field trip in san diego and after i bought a curious george stuffed animal. david corenswet would be a perfect live action casting for the man in the yellow hat!
