Spike Lee's most personal and tender film is a vivid, sun-drenched love letter to 1970s Brooklyn that captures the messy, beautiful reality of childhood. Zelda Harris is a revelation as Troy, navigating family chaos and growth with incredible heart. A soulful, timeless classic.

The Lee family at their best. Some great acting in this one from Lindo and Woodard, but also all the kids. Normally child actors annoy tf out of me but they all were very convincing
