I was not smart enough for this movie

A little difficult to follow at first and then all the horrible dots connect into a disturbing landscape of horny terror. Whoever wrote this movie needs to be investigated.

Basically videodrome

Loved it. Super weird and at times just odd. But the message is great and underneath the surreal abstraction is something deep and meaningful. The body horror and surgery is impressive too.

I randomly get flash backs of this movie and start saying crimes of the future all dramatically

2/5. I was lost and yeah just not a fan. The idea was cool I guess ?? But yeah it’s a no for me.

I LOVE Cronenberg, but this movie fell short.
Surgical fetishism is something that he has touched before and I expected the same type of fever dream depiction and just didn’t get that. I also didn’t feel like the actors convinced me of anything.

I’m sorry, I’m a pretentious loser, I fucking love this.

Really cool idea, sick practicals and specials, but overall we couldn’t finish it. The narrative just wasn’t there, it had all the pieces to make a great movie but they couldn’t tell a good STORY. Love Cronenberg but this one’s a miss.

I was into it for the first act but the painfully slow pace, confusing storyline, and the autopsy really ruined it for me. I appreciated the point being made, but felt like the writing didn’t pull it together. I think I’m ok not seeing another Cronenberg.
