It’s the Jeff Bridges show in this washed up country music star biopic. It has plenty to like, albeit a bit formulaic in the genre. A solid film about fighting your demons. RIP Robert Duvall: “just like the songs I leave behind me, I’m going to live forever now”

Movie was meh, but soundtrack is amazing.

Watched this the other night. Solid ass movie, the dude can sing man. I’ve actually been listening to the album he made for this. My only complaint is the age difference seemed a littleee weird and they kinda moved fast. Pacing was a little off. But over all great watch.
