I wish this was better

Meh

Close to a meh becuase not much really happened, but overall it was quite enjoyable.

My biggest issue is that I don’t feel like the relationship did anything for the rest of the movie.

Very very good concept, and while it was complicated it was also very comprehensive. Good 🎬

Loved this film when it first came out, biggest stars of the era, not sure how well it’s aged, 7/10 👍

Tons of big names with a meaty crooked cop force story. Different Stallone than you’re used to. Plus Liotta, Keitel and De Niro.

Early James Mangold film. I miss films like this, we rarely if ever get them these days. Sylvester Stallone is really great and so is the stacked supporting cast

If they said the nickname “Superboy” about 50% less in serious conversations, I could enjoy this movie better

I feel this was underrated. I remember most of the talk about Sly adding weight for the role and his attempt of serious drama…um hello Rocky. Panned mostly but I thought it was alright. 6/10
