Sooooo sad but beautifully directed. Camera angles are really a big part of telling this story. Watch it and see if you agree.

I watched this film in class at uni and wasn’t expecting to be as touched by it as I was. It was shot so beautifully, while giving that 60s feel.
The romance was so beautifully tragic
At first it didn’t seem like a romance at all, but it worked so well!
The ending broke me though

the passion on display is of all sorts, a steady flame against the cold.
Two fine lead performances drive the central relationship which is filled with intense passion but also missed opportunities at every turn…

It was so good i loved the way it was filmed and the music.

“Let’s go to the other side; the view will be better there.” Two broken people, inseparable from each other, yet they can’t be together. The constant time jumps were crucial to tell the story how Pawel wanted it to be told, but it felt really emotionally inaccessible

So pretty. Women can do no wrong. And music and dance can exist forever

One of my all time favorites :) definitely deserves a mention in Letterboxd top 4

Beautiful cinematography and great performances, engaging story on the ups and downs of being trapped in love in a very complicated relationship and time in the world

really enjoyed this, as with each jump in time the director managed to capture timeless feelings while still sweeping the rug out from under you. Like you're suddenly falling, but you know the feeling well
