Visual are great and the plot is there but both Robbins and Morten (who I both adore) often have a deadpan style and it doesn’t work for their characters who just present as apathetic. I consequently couldn’t develop any empathy for either until the literal end of the movie.

A great sci-fi drama with characters who aren’t necessarily relatable or worth rooting for, except that they’re against a faulty system. This movie deals with genetics, cloning, and surveillance, but it’s mostly about how those things affect average people.
