I knew this was supposed to be “bad” going in, but I actually really enjoyed this.

Despite being a bit cheesy, the film is just good vibes and was just a pleasant experience to watch. It certainly went a bit darker toward the end than I expected, but it worked and I appreciated how it brought things together for the climax. Although realistically, no self-respecting woman would have taken his ass back, even if it is Tom Cruise.

Speaking of, he does do a good job here, Cruise is often perceived as ‘just an action actor’, going back to some of his older stuff it’s evident how good he really is. Elisabeth Shue too, she kinda dipped off the face of the map at some point - but I always found her really talented.

Pleasantly surprised by this, knowing how it wasn’t really rated. Tom Cruise does so good with dramatic roles, comedy too - very underrated in that regard. Really looking forward to Iñárritu’s Digger this year.

6/10 was good but need more of a story line and could have been better
