as a film/documentary, it was super well made. i loved the animations and the editing style and i think it was so unique in the best way. analyzing the contents of it, you can see that kurt was a person who felt things very deeply, which is something i relate to as well as admire

Kurt Cobain is the closest thing there is to a god.
This documentary tells the life of a legend.
I really fought the story telling with the animation was the right way to show his life in a cinematic way. It also had some stuff to that has not been seen before.

Do you ever finish a movie and then feel an extremely strong urge to blow your brains out. (But in a good way)

Masterpiece but the ending couldn’t have been more of a rushed shit

a great analysis of one of my favorite musicians and one of the greatest bands of all time. the animation can be polarizing, but it’s well-made and fits the tone of the outrageous artistic pieces. a pained genius; the final pieces of footage are beyond powerful

Overall, I thought the animations and general presentation really put you in the mind or Kurt. I am glad the footage was very uncensored and raw. However, they could’ve shown more of a brighter side to his character.

Regardless, this is amazing.

the best documentary i've ever watched. i love the different styles of the animation. it's carefully thought out & raw and honest. there are both beautiful and sad moments throughout the course of the documentary. it really shows kurt's mindset though out the course of his life.
