No shot this movie was so good it made me eat my own piss.

Not as good as I remember (lot of mid 80s cringe/corniness) but enjoyable enough, primarily fueled by nostalgia

If I were alive pre-2000s, I probably would have put this in my top 100 films of all time. Some aspects age shockingly well, while others do not. The casting, acting, and dynamics, for one, were great, especially Tim Curry, proving his range yet again. The pacing starts off slightly slow but gradually speeds up faster and faster until you're almost clueless. Then the confusion kicks in, and before you know it, it's exposition galore, with multiple endings as a cherry on top. I miss how risky and experimental films used to be. It's unpredictable, and not everyone will like it, but for a board game adaptation, I doubt I'll ever forget it.

Classic favorite! Love Tim Curry.

i had no idea it was a comedy going in but i think i liked it better like that, the jokes and thrills work incredibly well together and give this movie the stamp of approval it deserves
