This was a really great slasher. Cheesy? Yeah, but I love it lol. It does remind me a lot of Thanksgiving though, so I couldn’t help but compare. And let me tell you, no matter how cool a slasher is, killing the only black member of the main cast and DOING IT FIRST??? BOOOOOOO👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

6.2 - Pleasantly surprised, and also unfortunately disappointed.

First trailers had me write this all the way off. First reactions from other viewers had me actually excited. But at a core it’s a slasher and I just don’t love slashers.

Kills were decent. It subverted a lot of expectations and tropes. But it wasn’t silly enough to be campy and it wasn’t deep enough to be serious and thoughtful. Frendo is a decently creepy clown at least.

It wasn’t a bad time, but it didn’t commit to anything to be much more than middling. A decent one time watch that should have come out in late September.

This was decent. I kind of went into it expecting to see a silly and goofy teenage slasher, and that’s exactly what I got. I actually somewhat enjoyed the comedy and thought it was reasonably well done. The ending did lose me a bit, but I walked out satisfied enough.

This would’ve been a “love” if the ending had been about 5-10mins longer and more climactic. It just felt like it ended prematurely and/or just didn’t have enough of that classic slasher big ending where “it all goes down”. Still a great film though, definitely one of the best horror films of the year so far.

Honestly, I wanted more scenes with Rusty and Cole, but it’s fine — the movie is quite interesting even though it’s very predictable (after all, these are the kinds of horror films I like)

That was certainly something. Started off really bad but then became hilariously bad and dumb and some jokes were kinda funny but in the laugh at kind of way. It was so shit it’s good

I didn't expect much from a slasher about a clown who kills in a cornfield, but why do they have to make the protagonists so stupid and cringe? It was very predictable and the deaths were unoriginal. But I give it points because I like these kinds of silly movies.

A surprisingly good watch!! A great horror that subverts tropes from other classic slasher films… was NOT expecting some of the plot twists in the movie 7/10!! kind of funny, but kind of corny (get it? ‘cause of the cornfield) definitely a good time!

We thought it was a good film. I loved the book and of course they changed some things but I think it was a great adaptation. I think Quinn was more of a badass in the book but they did well with casting for everyone

As a huge fan of the books I am very pleased! The clowns were way creepier than I expected 🤡
