I think the main theme is the breaking of cycles, as K was in a relationship with D, a far older woman(resulting in a power imbalance) and she ends up meeting a girl younger than her. Instead of dating her, she tells Lana to never talk to her again, breaking the cycle.

this movie was just bad. I feel like they just woke up and decided to make a movie. They had to have filmed and wrote it the same day.
