I hate Jessie

loved how they added the photographs from the journalists in the big scenes, that truly was immersive. cinematography, color pallet, shot composition was so fucking good. those silent moments made it way more intense. i really wanted more plot, but another solid A24 film. 9 / 10

Complete crap. Movie is about the journalists not the modern civil war. Long drawn out boring

The pointlessness of war is re-inforced and the dangers of high adrenaline and dangerous jobs is well brought to the screen. this might not end the way you think it will, or maybe it's doomed to finish exactly how you believe it will. Split fraction of a fictional civil war

Good idea, lack luster execution. Hardly touches on the idea of a modern U.S. civil war. Focuses too much on repeatedly saving the new journalist. By the end, the movie has made you dislike not only, both sides of the war but the protagonist too.
