I hate Jessie

loved how they added the photographs from the journalists in the big scenes, that truly was immersive. cinematography, color pallet, shot composition was so fucking good. those silent moments made it way more intense. i really wanted more plot, but another solid A24 film. 9 / 10

My girl Jessie was really in for a wild ride, mostly because of her own damn actions…

Halfway between meh and like. I loved the start, all the dystopian imagery, it was very well done. But the ending was unbelievably weak. I really thought it was gonna have a more solid plot finale that tied everything together but it really didn’t, ended with a fizzle.

it was so interesting to see a war movie from a pov that’s often not thought out/ overlooked. it really showed the extremes they went through to get their stories. it was so hard to watch people get killed just for being in the wrong place. & the girl was stressing me tf out 😭

Loved the different perspective we got through a camera lens. I liked the fact you didn’t care which side won you just wanted for the journalist to get the story. Would like some more background on what started the war and how it came to be since it is a journalism movie technically. Other than that it’s a great watch and it really opens your eyes to “what if”.
