Such an underrated gem! Love this movie so much, the story gets you hooked and the world they created was so good. I really wish they did movie sequels like the books.

I've watched this, really interesting movie

It was nice watching this movie again. The only thing I remembered from it before was “giant mole monster.” and that’s what I looked up on Google to find this movie. I must say. Is the Poppy character was completely forgotten about.

it does remind me of a mix between the movie 'the boxtrolls' and 'peter pan'. where both are amazing and hold a deep magic to it.

I loved it, because it offers a perspective that an end isn't one if it's sad, it's just the beginning of a long path toward happiness.

Enjoyed it as a kid, if unmemorable. Wouldn't be surprised if it went down to Meh if I rewatched it.

Ending felt a little lame would have been better if the kids escaped mid way and did that ending bit and then the rest of the people made it out imo, poppy was a pointless character

good adventure movie

When I rewatched this as an adult, the only part I could remember from childhood was one of the scenes with the giant mole. Completely forgot about Bill Murray; a fantastic movie, a good amount of differences from the book but still a good adaptation

Would’ve been better if I hadn’t read the book first. The book is way more detailed and the movie leaves out a lot.

So good! I know the book is really great but I have hot read it yet. But the movie was great. So creative and cool.
