City Lights
While there’s no doubt it’s a great film and incredible for its time as it has some jokes that are still funny to this day. However it doesn’t deserve to be a top 10 movie of all time as it has massive pacing problems even due to its low runtime. Chaplin is incredible 7/10

I’m not normally a huge fan of silent movies but wow this one is just a masterpiece. It’s super funny and entertaining overall. Highly recommend this one to people looking for good silent comedies.

Of all of Chaplin’s timeless classics, this one is my favorite. Iconic scenes and heartwarming performances. Unquestionably a top-ten silent film all-time. This is one of those gateway films that could get you hooked on other non-talkie flicks.

My first Charlie Chaplin and also my new favorite silent film! I see now where physical comedy stems from. It's not just funny but also a cute romance with the blind girl.

Charlie Chaplin’s ability to portray so many emotions with just his face and body is truly remarkable. The entire movie is a joy to watch and the ending is incredibly sweet. Also some crazy effects for the time that hold up today. 7.5/10

Had some fun slapstick and physical comedy. I felt some bits went a little long. But it was a kind hearted story.

The body language, facial expressions and overall comedy was incredibly entertaining.
No wonder people loved Chaplin so much. Even to this day, with having spoken no words, is still much more hilarious and entertaining than some full time comedians.
Sold watch.
Gold.
