The books are a million… actually maybe even a billion times better than whatever this piece of garbage film was.

All I liked was the dark circus aesthetic

I don’t care what anyone says, I like this movie. I’ve seen it twice and I still enjoy it. It never bores me. The first time I watched it was in theaters. My aunt and cousin wanted to leave because they weren’t into it, but we stayed because I wanted to finish it.

Yeah it’s not as good as the books, but it definitely is wonderful. I freaking love vampires

Nostalgic

So nostalgic for me. The movie really isn’t the best, especially when it was designed to have more in the series but never happened, BUT with all that in mind, it is a cinematic vibe for its time. Also deserves a like because vampires are cool. Watch if you agree………………………………………….

I enjoyed this quite a lot. Going back to when I was younger watching vampire style animations and reading Darren Shans book and the original vampire assistant book. I am glad this was turned into a film. 15 years old this movie is. William Defoe appears as well!! 6/10
