One of the best power films

This beautifully transitions from a fun, charming, self insert power-trip only to show the implications of having that power & the consequences of using it irresponsibly. A grounded retelling of the superhero story with a close and personal feel that makes it hit even harder.

This was really amazing. And for being just a thriller, the concept explored here is actually pretty horrifying. I felt a consistent sense of dread throughout and was very impressed with the effects for the time.

Loved the found footage style and how they were able to incorporate that style with the storytelling, taking a really unique perspective and setting it apart from others in the genre.

Genuinely scary to think about someone who loses touch with reality, views others as beneath them, and gains superpowers. This was great, but could have been even better with an R rating.

I did also really love the end and the sentimental touch. “You made it” really got me.

A lot darker than I thought it would be. I really liked this movie. I think the second half is better than the first half though since that's when the drama aspect of the film really starts coming in. This movie is definitely worth the watch.
