Chronicle

This beautifully transitions from a fun, charming, self insert power-trip only to show the implications of having that power & the consequences of using it irresponsibly. A grounded retelling of the superhero story with a close and personal feel that makes it hit even harder.

One of the best power films

Some bits of acting seemed cheesy and forced (Andrew and Steve’s heart to heart in the car) and the dialogue had some unnatural bits, but overall the movie was incredible. The ending was great and the evolution of camera work over time was fascinating.

Really gives an accurate fell as to how some teenagers would react to powers and their spiral out of control but felt a little short, I mean I want them to explore more avenues of their powers and the world. Still, a fantastic watch

Love found footage movies and the superpowers are displayed in a really cool way

Definitely going into my top superpower movies for its creative usage of the camera and down to earth feel. They really captured the essence of what it would be like if the boys got superpowers. 8.5/10 girls with purple hair
