Children of Men Reviews

Was really thrown off by the terrible corny acting from literally everyone except the main character, the endless plot holes, mediocre writing, and they made sure not to forget to squeeze in some good old muslim racism as usual ☺️.
The overall concept, camera work, and the last-

My friend Jack loves this movie but literally nothing happens in it

Very meh… shoutout to @cjsmith @krish watched this because it came up in our convo the other day

Nice watch

Oh my god that was hard to watch. But it is beautiful and brings hope for the future

It’s been a long time since I watched a post-apocalyptic film, and this one wasn’t bad at all. The premise was really interesting at the beginning, somehow it became less engaging as it went on. I just wish they had explored the lore more because it will be so much better.

Powerful film, last 30 minutes are enthralling and is some of the finest cinema ever created. We are Children of Men.

this is actually a documentary about 2024 uk

Not far from reality

6.2 stupid

it was ok. i really liked some of the cinematography, and there were some scenes that were just pure art. i liked the pink floyd animals reference. other than that i thought this movie was just ok.

Very mid. Parts felt like they dragged on and it was overall so depressing more so than anything. Wouldn’t recommend

5.9/10

it was surprising for me to stumble on a movie like this because I always thought that this will be our reality at some point. but what makes me feel weird is that back then, 2027 was considered the epitome of technology and the future, which is the complete opposite now.

Great film. Well written to follow the book, depressing sets and wardrobe to match the feel of the script. Terrific cast and performances. An Amazing Watch.

7/10

What an interesting story, WOW!

3/5 Wouldn’t rewatch
