Was really thrown off by the terrible corny acting from literally everyone except the main character, the endless plot holes, mediocre writing, and they made sure not to forget to squeeze in some good old muslim racism as usual ☺️.
The overall concept, camera work, and the last-

It’s been a long time since I watched a post-apocalyptic film, and this one wasn’t bad at all. The premise was really interesting at the beginning, somehow it became less engaging as it went on. I just wish they had explored the lore more because it will be so much better.

it was ok. i really liked some of the cinematography, and there were some scenes that were just pure art. i liked the pink floyd animals reference. other than that i thought this movie was just ok.

Very mid. Parts felt like they dragged on and it was overall so depressing more so than anything. Wouldn’t recommend

A post-apocalyptic film directed by Alfonso Cuarón, set in a future that seemed very far away when the movie imagined the year 2027. One of the things that defines Cuarón’s style is his use of long shots, especially during action scenes, which creates a sense of anxiety and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The continuous shots without cuts make the experience even more immersive, as they allow the audience to fully appreciate the choreography, cinematography, and tension without being distracted by constant editing.
This film reminded me a lot of video games like Call of Duty and The Last of Us, especially because of its atmosphere, intense action sequences, and the feeling of surviving in a chaotic world.
