I could talk about this movie for hours, but I need to stress to you how good Richard Gere is in the film because you wouldn’t expect him to hold his own in a musical, yet he does it with such power!

idk why i just had this liked i love the women

can’t say better things about this movie/musical, it’s got it all: burlesque, murder, women, jazz, not grounded in reality. All in all my type of movie!!

Such a fun musical

It won an Oscar for best picture and it’s 2 hours… but it’s not a traditional film. It’s a musical. Once you get over that hump, it’s quite enjoyable.

i remember first secretly watching this as a kid when my mom had it on and being enthralled with the music, velma, and roxie! such a classic movie that holds its own after all these years
