Good plot, a little bit of fictitious action scene, but overall good

that went so hard!! it was like Passion of the Christ if Jesus was a level 17/3 fighter/barbarian

I went in expecting a rousing, patriotic epic, but ended up slogging through a melodramatic, stomach-churning endurance test.

The Director’s Eye:
Laxman Utekar spent the budget well on visuals; the costumes and armor look incredibly authentic. Vicky Kaushal commits fully, carrying the weight of a king defending his nation's sovereignty ("Swaraj"). As a conservative, I respect the themes of defending one's homeland and standing firm in faith against forced conversion. A.R. Rahman’s score is thunderous and adds much-needed soul.

The Cuts:
I have to warn you: the violence in the final act is repulsive. It crosses the line into torture porn (eyes pierced, tongue torn out) and was spiritually disturbing to watch. The middle acts drag like a bad soap opera, and the CGI lion fight looked fake.

Verdict:
A film with a strong patriotic spirit bogged down by excessive gore and bad pacing. Definitely not for families.

Favorite Line: "We will fight for Swaraj."

You can’t make a movie expecting ppl to already know the fucking history behind whatever you’re showing!!! I was so confused, the movie wasn’t bad ONLY if you knew the fucking storyline before you watched it 🤷‍♂️

The movie was good and could have seemed better in the absence of Rashmika Mandana and Diana Penty, totally laung and elaichi vibe in biryani.

I don’t have any words for the sacrifices done by Chatrapati Shambhaji Maharaj, everyone performance was perfect and the portrayal was fully justified, this movie is part of history from now on and will be remembered as a core part of it, watch this movie at all costs!!!!
