Kevin smith is a genius. Joey Lauren Adams was a fox in the 90s and she ATE this role.

At first the only reason I was watching this movie was for Jason Lee and then I quickly figured out how emotional this movie was going to be. I was not ready for the raw emotion in this movie and was expecting something similar to Mallrats

Instead its a surprisingly pleasant love triangle between two friends, one who may love his friend more than he would like to admit and a girl who’s openly lesbian/bi

Not really a huge Kevin Smith fan either but this movie was a welcomed surprise

This, outside of Mallrats, is what made me love Kevin Smith and his movies. He has such a unique way to tell stories and his characters are always so memorable. Def a different take on a love story.

Rather unfortunate to read how divisive this film is. It’s just a very unconventional rom-com that succeeds in touching on different themes of bisexuality, flaws in homophobic logic, and the prevalence of (masculine) sexual insecurity.

I personally didn’t care for this

poorly aged but banger movie

A somewhat poorly aged Kevin Smith effort that is still fairly solid. Ben Affleck is pretty good however I do feel that the script needed a little work, ignoring what has aged poorly
