ugh such a beautiful film, wish it got the love it deserved. chappie is easily the most adorable & loving robot character right next to wall-e. it’s just such a powerful story, and it’s so well told. the action is so good, the vfx, the sfx, the cinematography, & the characters just simply wow. and omg the production design of the warehouse, the graffiti walls, the vibes, my dystopian fantasy. ugh, i just wish there was a sequel, fucking critics suck balls. neill (the director) originally wrote chappie as a trilogy. when i’m a millionaire i will fund it to make it happen. mark my words. 10 / 10

This movie made me cry over a robot. The attachment you get to Chappie in just a short amount of time is insane and the fact that they convey so much emotion with a robot is shocking. 10/10 movie

listen.... I'm a BIG fan of die Antwoord. but I do not like this film 😭 the concept is eh and it's not entertaining. the script is horribly written. Ninja and Yolandi expertise is not in this field of work

Chappie is a good movie. I love robot related movies, I Robot, I Am Mother, so obviously Chappie was a good fit. Obviously I don’t like Die Antwoord (main characters being Yolandi nd Ninja) considering the messed up things they’ve done. But movie itself is great, I recommend 👍

A cyberpunk premise that has all the generic elements to work but falls flat except for the robot design and how it emulates the city’s griminess. There are a variety of wacky characters but I could never connect with any of them. Chappie themself isn’t presented in a believable…

omg i saw this one time like a decade ago but i remember going into thinking this is another stupid robot movie that my brother wanted to watch…ended up sobbing - very good movie.

it’s hard to get past the fact that Hugh Jackman’s character could have just done what Sigourney Weaver said. Like found a place between the Scouts and the Moose that would have been cheaper to manufacture.
Everything else tho is pretty amazing. Story wise & visually.

almost everything about this movie is meh. the CGI and everything about Chappie is what makes this movie good. shocking amount of blood near the end tho.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie. It makes me cry (again I’m emotional) this movie will make you mad, make you inspired, it’ll also make you laugh. This movie has it all. One of my favorite watches
