Idgaf, it’s a 10, idc recent bias, idc I saw it in cinemas, it’s a 10, fight me and my crippiling loneliness,

Reze Arc is absolutely peak, from start to finish it’s just amazing, the animation, the characters, the plot, the story, the cinematography, just everything is so well made, it’s just amazing, I’m voided of words, cannot wait for the next instalment.

1st Act 9.8/10 (KINDA SPOILERS FOR THIS PART, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK OF INTERPRETATION) “Haha you thought”, sums up the act perfectly, and honestly, shit I’d believe it to, and have.)

2nd Act 10/10 (Thanks Mappa for the cool 45 minute fight scene to fight the feeling of crippling loneliness 👍😀👍.)

3rd Act 10/10 (Mappa really said “Look at me, I’m gonna give you the most heartbreaking final act possible, and you’re gonna like it you wench.)

Plot 10/10 (Why did you give Denji a hello kitty girl vs a manipulator, it’s a lose, lose, and this mf don’t know that, he couldn’t tell a red light from a green one.)

Soundtrack/Score 11/10 (Both Water scenes had me on the brink of tears.)

Acting 10/10 (WARHORSE MOTHERFUCKERS.)

Pacing 10/10 (An unrelentingly perfectly paced film.)

Cinematography 11/10 (When every scene is a painting, it’s hard to not get a 10.)

Character Development 11/10 (Not only did a feel bad for Denji, I felt myself through him, and if a film does that, it deserves perfection.)

Writing 10/10 (Reze could not be more perfectly written, same with Angel.)

Ending 11/10 (Verge of tears, edge of seat, wanting more and more.)

Direction 9.8/10 (Beautiful, and wouldn’t change a thing.)

These anime movies are feeling like a waste of time and money rn. Feel like cash grabs. It still had good fights, but coulda just been a normal anime show.

i read part 1 like 4 (?) years ago so seeing everyone again was sooooo 🥲🥲🥲 I’ve missed them so much omg ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹. that intro song was sooooo good, idk how I’ve never heard it before. i feel my motivation to start part 2 coming back.

too much sexual stuff (of minors might i add, like why was the bomb devil fighting naked at first then in her underwear for the rest of the movie…..she was more covered when she first turned in the movie and looked really nice so idk what happened) that i don’t remember lol. some of the fight scenes were insane but hard to understand what was going on lmfao. that being said tho i am kinda pissed off I watched it cause i thought it was an adaptation of chapters after part 1 (chapters which i haven’t read yet), i didn’t do my research well enough lol but i had a decent time so whatever i guess.

It was a JJK Shibuya Arc want to be movie. Fairly disappointed, by the writing, and was a very mid movie, 5.5/10

Absolutely stunning movie. This isn’t just episodes strung together, this is truly a work of art.
It’s obvious that everyone who worked on this has a love for their craft. The animation is beautiful and fluid. The english voice actors did an incredible job with just the right amount of emotion.

I had already read the arc long ago, I decided to skim over it yesterday, and even knowing what was going to happen, and even after seeing all the trailers, it still exceeded my expectations by far.

I watched it in 3D and the experience was amazing. 2D animation works surprisingly well in 3D, so if you have the opportunity to see it in 3D, I highly recommend it.

Obviously, if you’ve read chainsaw man (at least part 1) you understand that it is a very well written manga. Season 1 was unable to get very far into the story, so those who haven’t read it were yet to see the true beauty of the series.
This movie is where I believe that changes. This arc is absolutely incredible and after seeing it adapted in such an amazing way, I’m certain those who haven’t read it will come to love the series.

Overall I give this movie a 10/10, as Chainsaw Man is one of my favorite manga, and this is where the series truly picks up.

I love this movie everything about it is perfect everything the emotions hit the characters great the ending devastating my only real issue Is I wish the fight was shorter but that’s because the story is so good 10/10 can’t wait for more chainsaw man

FUJIMOTO’s A GENIUS!!

Back in 2022, I watched an anime that captivated me in countless ways. Studio MAPPA had already proven its mastery with Jujutsu Kaisen, so I felt compelled to explore this particular series. After rewatching the anime again this week, I was filled with anticipation and excitement to see how it would be brought to life on the big screen.

I went into Chainsaw Man: The Movie wanting to feel everything it had to offer — the motion, the chaos, the heartbreak — so I watched it in D-Box. Every jolt, every tremor, every heartbeat pulled me deeper into Denji’s world until I wasn’t just watching the story… I was living it. What followed left me breathless, devastated, and in awe.

“It only takes one movie to change your life forever.” Makima’s words echo through my mind long after the credits rolled, and in that moment, I realized how true they were. Chainsaw Man: The Movie isn’t just chaos and blood — it’s a story of deception wrapped in desire, a haunting reflection of how love can wear a mask. Denji and Reze’s bond wasn’t fragile; it was something that could have been more, yet was born from illusion. Beneath every smile was a truth waiting to break. When that mask finally shattered, it left behind a silence that felt almost unbearable — a devastation that spoke louder than any scream.

What MAPPA has accomplished here transcends animation. Every frame breathes with intent — the quiet rainfall, the trembling of a hand, the lingering pause before heartbreak. Their work isn’t just seen; it’s felt. Like in Jujutsu Kaisen, MAPPA captures pain through beauty, turning motion into emotion and violence into poetry. The studio’s precision, their ability to balance chaos with vulnerability, transforms Chainsaw Man into something alive — an experience that feels both cinematic and deeply personal.

“Everyone wants my chainsaw heart… but what about my heart, Denji’s heart?” That line from the trailer cut through everything — raw and heartbreakingly sincere. Denji isn’t fighting for glory or survival; he’s fighting to be seen. To be loved for something beyond the monster the world made him into. And when Reze enters his life, that illusion of love becomes both his salvation and his undoing. Beneath all the blood and steel beats a heart that just wants to be human — even when the world refuses to let it.

Denji isn’t innocent — he’s impulsive, perverted, and painfully human. But that’s what makes him real. His devotion to Makima defines him, yet blinds him to the quiet truths around him. When he asks, “Do I have a heart?” and she tells him he does, it becomes one of the story’s most tragic moments. Because Denji does have a heart — one that loves recklessly and without understanding the cost. The pool scene with Reze captures that perfectly: nothing sexual, nothing forced. Just a fleeting moment of joy between two broken people. And as it fades, I hear Makima’s voice again: “It only takes one movie to change your life forever.” This was mine.

Great animation but this movie felt like a teaser for what’s to come. Angel has sm potential I’m excited for him. Reze is so op I loved her fighting.

100/100, absolute masterpiece no debate, they adapted the manga PERFECTLY and made it even better, im so satisfied, im literally inlove with this movie, best anime movie so far, watched so many animes, but this one is different and better. reze X denji 4ever.

This movie was just sad, and half of the movie was just denji getting absolutely shitted on my reze but still a really good watch, the fight and animation were mesmerising and good character development so far

9.5/10 Everything about this was incredible. Denji's story and growth is just as compelling as it was in the show and Aki had some great development alongside Angel in terms of how they want to live life. Thematically and narratively both the overall movie and reze are great.
