lacking direction plot wise and comes off a bit pretentious; acts like it's saying more than it is. much of the humor didn't land for me as well. great horror elements though, visually stunning with its intense gothic scenery and practical effects but it falls apart elsewhere imo

A film that watches like a strange art piece in the best way possible. Funny, weird, bloody, and just a blast to watch. The script has depth that remains unmatched with more meaning than any film I’ve ever seen. An amazing depiction of insanity and sin.

While it’s definitely all over the place and doesn’t really have a straight narrative. The strange, weird, unexpected and bizarre nature of this movie made me like it more than I expected. It’s funny even when it’s not supposed to be, point down for music chooses Didn’t fit

Such a strange and unusual film, but I myself am strange and unusual, so it's a good time! They want to make romancing zombies but don't have the balls to fuck one. It's like if Sam Raimi made a zombie movie and was inspired by Return of the Living Dead.

I watched this with super low expectations, so maybe that’s why I liked it so much. I laughed out loud a few times at it, and it’s a truly interesting movie. I would call it a hidden gem. The plot is everywhere though.
