My dad gaslit me into thinking this was a true story when I was a kid. It hurt deep when I found out this great film wasn’t based off a true story!

what a beautiful film, almost made me cry lowkey. but wow tom hanks acted incredible.
ps. i was at a wilson store the other day and saw the iconic volleyball and i asked where it was based from and they told me to watch this. so unreal

terrifying, litterally everything bad that couldve happened to this man did… i really need to know what was in that package. anyway, really well done, heartbreaking and anxiety inducing to the max. it was a great movie with great acting and some amazingly done scenes. love the

A decent island survival movie to watch with your family or loved ones. Somehow they made Wilson sailing away pretty emotional… or it was just me. The 4 year timeskip wasn’t necessary imo. The movie had more potential. What Kelly did to Chuck was reckless. Chuck deserves better.

What happens if an average guy gets in a plane crash in the middle of the ocean. If Tom Hanks is that guy, we get an iconic movie out of it. Great exploration and character development for a guy that is stranded on an island by himself with only a volleyball to talk to
