I don’t care if you don’t like this movie. I have watched this one probably more than 10 times and it’s still one of my fav pixar movies. the action, casting, storyline, everything about this movie is perfect

Wildly overhated. Honestly, it's on par, if not slightly better than the first. There's a huge focus shift in both the story and characters, from a straight McQueen to a silly Mater and from a tense race to a better than expected spy mystery. Both, I felt, were executed brilliantly with just enough balance. My only issue is with the disrespectful and inconsistent removal of Hudson/Newman. I know he passed, but completely vanishing him? Otherwise, the humour, references, animation, and messages are exactly what you want and expect from Pixar. If they hadn't made the third and stopped there (for now), I wouldn't have minded a franchise full of genre spins.

Underrated. The understanding of there being more to a person than what is on the outside is a beautiful concept that should be tackled more

Listen I loved this movie. The characters, the plot and the end. I just wanted to see more Francesco Bernoulli. Also this movie might fit better in its own universe, because to me... cars is about the rise of a rookie race car driver and his favourite town of radiator spring.

Okay so this movie was great to watch as a child. But this, to me, is one of Pixar’s only films where only children can enjoy it. The plot makes no sense in terms of the world this takes place in, it makes no progression on the main story or any characters and to me it’s terrible

Really good movie, but I’ve never understood why it switched to undercover spy stuff. Like the first one with was about lightning MQ figuring out his true self/fixing his ego.. Then that switches to undercover spy? 😭 Idk just a genuine thought but it’s a really good movie!!!

My fav part was when Lewis Hamilton talked

It’s hard going from small town charm to world traveler. It does an interesting job at expanding the Cars universe, featuring a car pope among others. It tries to be a James Bond film for kids but as Cars. I didn’t feel as emotional as I did with other Pixar films.

It turns into a spy movie with cars, which feels silly and messy.

Fun for kids, but very different from the first.

If Pixar made James Bond. This one is wild! It has a weak story, but all our favorite characters are back, along with some new friends. You still get that great homage to the love of cars, along with some fantastic animation. Kids love it. For me though, it's just above a 'meh'.
