Carlito's Way Reviews

Escape to Paradise 🏝️

Good

Absolutely fantastic, my only criticism is I didn’t like Pacino’s accent but for some reason remembering him in Scarface helped

Slow start but once it got going it was good and had a interesting and captivating story

10/10

Love it

“I swore id never break her heart, but yknow, things happen.” Sean Penn here has the most despicable punchable face i ever seen. Hate starting at the end then flashing back especially here cuz with the way things were going it became pretty clear how it was gonna end b4 it ended.

7/10

Entertaining story of a guy trying his best to get out of his old life. A lot of entertaining action scenes and a different romance story than usual. The relationship between Pacino and Penn is very dynamic and probably the main reason this movie is as good as it is. Ending is “predictable” but still fun.

Better Scarface

Boring most of the time and the highs are too outstanding either way

For the people that can’t handle The Godfather try this.

Was good, final act was a let down, Gail was a mega skank. Hated her dude. There was no chemistry between the two either, wish they had dropped that. Age difference was funny too.

Overall very entertaining, and I usually hate gangster movies. 6/10
