Even though this was a "one day movie" it was genuinely nice, I'm gonna be honest, Josie became more likable as the story went on because in the beginning she was really annoying (even though ironically she said so little), but yeah, honestly, funny, yet fairly serious movie

Cute John Hughes movie that gives us all unrealistic expectations for our teenage dreams. The entire movie plays out like a Target commercial, which is pretty ridiculous—but the two leads, especially Jennifer, are so fun.

Jennifer Connely 1000 percent carriers this movie. She is absolutely stunning and beyond amazing. The moment she enters the movie it brings such an energy that really lifts this movie up. Rewatchable and fun!

So cute, I loved this film!

Yea yea, add me to the list of watching this because of Jennifer Connelly. Obviously she's the best part, but this was actually an easy-to-watch 90s comedy about hanging out in Target! The dad character needs to be locked up eating meat with peanut butter, though.

this movie is one of the biggest reasons I have unrealistic expectations for finding love: an absolute nerd gets locked up in a Target with a gorgeous boss woman and they end up falling in love, skating around Target, driving away robbers, and running away together 😭🫶🛼

I personally enjoyed this movie. Even though it had tons of corny, goofy, and ridiculous moments, I still thought it enjoyable and a bit humorous.

I don’t know what took me so long to finally watch this but I’m glad I did! Even though this was only written but not directed by it still oozes John Hughes! It’s one of those tween dreams you wish would happen to you, but only happens in the movies!
