Cabaret

I haven't really gotten a hold of Fosse's style yet, but this was disappointing. Comparing it to All That Jazz as they're both a musical-ish, this was kind of bad.
I wasn't very fond of the plot as it felt aimless and hollow, like nothing was happening. I also didn't care or-

Good, but I prefer the musical

Without the songs I’d have been quite bored. Too many implications, only knew what it was meant to be about due to reading about it and I still couldn’t tell what was happening. Dog died. Not happy about that.

Liza is incredible as sally!

Really nice but It's a much more intellectual movie, you have to really pay attention to what's really going on in the scene and in the dialogues to understand what's going on in the general context, especially the social context but it's nice
