I remember seeing clips of the final act, but seeing the full movie leading up to it is crazy how good the acting is. It was hard not to look away in that final act because the tension is strong.

This movie did not get the love it deserved when it was released. Might be a bit over dramatic but that’s the point to make you feel his PTSD and paranoia. Tobey Maguire is aces! Jake & him LOOK like brothers. Nat is amazing. The older daughter is phenomenal. Watch 4 performances

Tobey Maguire is hard to watch next to Jake Gyllenhaal. The kid acting sucks

It could’ve been soooooo much better. Script fell apart. The climax was great, but it’d have been better if we had gotten proper torture scenes.
The brother was pointless, “we’re brothers” was hilarious.
The daughter was a bitch cunt, wife was insufferable, dad was flat

my two favorite actors playing the lead roles in a film together? yes please! everyone’s performance was amazing & really makes you feel for all of them. An intense roller coaster of emotions. Tobey Maguire blew everything out of the water in this one !!

The acting is phenomenal but didn’t like the story it feels off or smthng is missing

Amazing man, one of the most intense movies I’ve ever seen similar to In the Bedroom and Hereditary in how it made feel. It made me introspective too, overall I highly recommend. The acting was also absolutely incredible, 9/10.

Isn't a war movie. It's a movie about what happens after war, and in its own quiet way shows the toll war takes on not only the people overseas but those who stay home as well.
