Good LORD i threw up after watching this movie. The reveal of jack dying with the post card god i really cant do it. His whole monologue "i wish i knew how to quit you" its all so beautiful. It makes me want to shit bricks. Ennis meeting jacks family too :( pinning up his shirt..

I absolutely understand why this movie has the importance to queer culture that it does. This movie beautifully displays homophobia, both internal and external, and the ways that it affects queer relationships, while still having the connection be the focus.

at first, it felt slow, but you start to get into the story and immerse yourself in the scenes that play. it's a very depressing story
