Completed a marathon rewatch, and lemme tell you this movie surpassed all memory of how truly masterful it is. Probably my favorite of the 4, though the original holds a special place in my heart. Laughed, cried, cringed, loved. They could never make me hate you Bridget Jones.

okay i kind of despised the hot and cold situation in this one but i’m not overtly disappointed with it all. let me say looks are certainly deceiving, especially when it comes to daniel. tried giving him a chance again, regretted it again. i liked mark better in the first one ngl

A British classic which would nowadays not be appropriate anymore (e.g. fat shaming, sexism).

Even though this is a huge ick, it reminds me of back then watching it on a cold and rainy or even snowy evening, snuggled in a cozy blanket, with tea and chocolate on the side. 🧶☕️🫖🍫

I mean I loved the fist one but can it get better. In this movie you se how Mark Darcy and Bridget handles their relationship and it’s absolutely hilarious.

The second installment of the Bridget Jones franchise comes with its downs, but stays consistent. It did suffer from a bit of lazy storytelling. While it was a step down from the original, it still had enough charm to keep things interesting.
