my heart was broken over and over again :( the monster is just a sweetheart i only want him to be happy, i adore him and his little bestie that taught him friendship, they were so so sweet, this is an emotional journey that you want so badly to have a good ending…

Look closely and you’ll notice that the monster’s wounds appear to heal. Makeup artist Jack Pierce incrementally toned down the burns and replaced some of the hair, creating the illusion that the monster was slowly recovering.

& The bride’s hairdo was supported by a wire cage.

theres maybe 5 minutes of the bride and like 15 minutes of frankenstein drinking and smoking with the blind man

Excited to see this set an where it was filmed in a few days

Watched this in the 70s terrifying back then scream 😱

Some of the visuals hold up, but the acting doesn’t.

not as good as normal frankenstein, but still an astonishing film from 1935

pretty great sequel that nearly emulates the energy of the original. the narrative isn’t quite as powerful since there’s little to no untread ground, but the visuals and performances are still incredibly solid. she’s clearly alive too

“She’s alive!” Gives more character to the Monster, was expecting more screen time for the Bride, but still loved the campiness of it.

What a movie I like the first one bud I must watch to finish the cliffhanger. They left you on four years before from 1931.

ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT!!!!! What a gorgeous love story, watching The Monster find his Humanity and Emotions was absolutely mesmerizing!!!!! I loved this entire film and this will be a constant Halloween/Spooky Season Watch for me!!!!! But all in all, this is an absolute masterpiece!!!! I wont give it a Hundred Out Of A Hundred yet but maybe with one more rewatch it will absolutely be!!!! 99/100
