Would've been better if it had more emotional/character depth, focused more on philosophy, romance, existentialism, you know the things that it was-

spectacular and innovative classic of the french new wave. perfectly shot with iconic and wildly charismatic lead performances; not much else to say that hasn’t been said before. endearingly dated, a true relic

"i'll stare at you until you stop staring at me." renewed my crush on seberg. alternates between a gorgeous 7 minute oner to a still with 3 cuts a few times, don't get why that's a thing. imperfectly perfect film.

Your favourite filmmaker’s favourite film. Timeless, rule-breaking, influential and iconic.

Like a poem etched in motion, the script braids silence and speech into something timeless. The ending with Seberg “qu’est que c’est « dégueulasse »?” as the infamous New York Harold Tribune song begins to play is something I ponder about oftentimes.

One can only dream of writing dialogue like this. Incredible protagonists, intriguing editing and directing really show why New Wave films are truly special

Not bad but a little boring. Definitely has its funny moments.

Really enjoyed this. Some impressive oners and great lead performances. The treatment of women in the film certainly is aged - incredibly poorly. However, if you can put that aside, you get a complex love story, and an intriguing on the run story.
