Braveheart
New favourite. It’s got everything a movie needs, the action, romance, tragedy, everything. It was amazing, I was also pleasantly surprised when the credits came around and I found out Mel Gibson not only starred in it but also directed and produced…that’s impressive!

Braveheart
not your classic war movie, it is gorey, bloody & tragic, but it's also funny? unserious? there's a beautiful love story at the beginning, Wallace is a bit too supermanish, the irishman thing was insane. it feels too long, but it adds to that final feeling of proudness & fighting

Great movie it’s long but it’s powerful and meaningful and it gives u pride for a country that isnt even mine. Mel Gibson was awesome from start to finish.

Now this is what I call and absolute masterpiece of a film. Ignore the long runtime, because this movie is so amazing that you almost forget how long it is and before you know it, it’s already over. Everything about it was just so phenomenal that I wanted to cry. 10/10 hands down

It's unclear when Mel Gibson became a combination of Sam Peckinpah and Akira Kurosawa, but there's no question that Braveheart is one of the best epic movies of the '90s... Scene after scene takes your breath away with its sometimes cruel beauty.

Braveheart was Mel Gibson at his testosterone finest. A massive aggressive movie that looks a little into the Scottish rebellion. Very bloody, very 90s, very Mel Gibson in a kilt.

8.8/10 Though the first quarter of the film felt a little fast as well as not a lot of emotion (even if it looked like they tried). The rest of the film got better the more it was watched.
Had a blast watching it. Had good acting in some scenes but felt bland in others. Great use of location as well as how real some scenes actually looked.
I can see why it's a classic, good watch

What an absolute MASTERPIECE. Braveheart is everything the movie sets out to be it’s an unbelievable epic that is thrilling and shocking at the same time. It’s nearly 3 hours but you don’t feel it from start to finish. And the ending is shocking and it’s perfection 10/10

A genuine masterpiece. A film of heartbreak, violence and satisfaction. As someone who was mostly unaware of the story of William Wallace I felt perfectly engaged and hooked by the storytelling in this epic. The performances here are unmatched and live up to the film’s fame.
