such a sad movie but so powerful

Really good movie. It’s hard to watch specially because it’s made from a real story. The end is sad.
A really good drama movie

Devastating. It’s a bit slow at the beginning, but watching a 1999 movie in 2026, the bigotry, judgment, and obsession with other people’s lives is still painfully relevant. Shoutout to Hilary Swank for a phenomenal performance. And fuck the sheriff in the story.

This was a good film but certainly a difficult watch. HS did the role justice bringing that extra emotional weight, as they always do. Not for the faint of heart, but an important retelling of events.

it would have been a thumbs up if it hadn't been so disrespectful to the real life story.

The acting is in this movie felt so authentic. The scenes felt so raw and vulnerable. Devastating and emotional to watch. (5-29-25)

Wish I could’ve watched this in 99’ for a more impactful and sensitive experience as to current events.
