i'm so happy i get to experience this movie as a gay teenage girl loser

i love this movie it’s hilarious and i’m so glad that we’ve progressed as a society to being able to have a teenage lesbian comedy that doesn’t have to touch on all the trauma regarding queerness but is able to be lighthearted and quirky! such a fun watch and we <3 ayo

the black republican and the teacher were the only good characters; i've never seen background characters outperform the main ones before...

This was *really* over the top (wasn’t expecting it…it’s sorta like “not another teen movie” level ridiculous) with lots to scratch your head about. But music slapped, some legit lol moments, and you know what? I was entertained 🍿

One of the most unserious movies ever in the best way. Hilariously over the top and keeps you laughing, especially Marshawn Lynch. Ayo Edebiri was fantastic. I loved the addition of the blooper reel during the credits. Overall a super entertaining movie

Has Not Another Teen Movie vibes. I didn’t hate it but also kind of glad I didn’t pay to see it in theaters like I wanted to.

I've been putting it off for so long as it didn't seem like my type of thing. Over time I only heard good things about this, and Ayo Edebiri really has grown on me as a person, and she almost carried. I didn't laugh much but I was entertained with whatever was going on. When I did laugh though, I lost it. It didn't feel as cringy as most coming-of-age, 'high school' comedies, so that's an achievement in itself. It did feel slightly dry though. The chemistry only hit with certain people, unfortunately. We need more comedies. Good ones.
