This is my ideal dumb comedy. The romance was sweet too

Really good directorial debut by WA. I love Luke and Owen Wilson, especially when they get a chance to share the screen. It’s cool to see the core comedy and scenery that WA has evolved into what it is in his more recent movies. Great music too.

A collection of short stories, good vibes, not much of a story

Very good film, love the colours, the humour is great and the characters are very good.

One of the best directorial debuts in cinema

A mature & poignant tale of the push and pull of friendship set against a road/buddy comedy & caper backdrop. Charismatic performances from the Wilsons who sell their lovable characters’ long lasting friendship thanks to being related. Excellent script by them & Anderson.

I could just enjoyed better, it’s a very nice movie to watch. This made me realize how Wes characters are so well written.

Definitely one of Wes Anderson’s weakest films but I still like it enough.

My favorite Wes Anderson so far. So cool to see his style early on; he clearly knows what he wants to do. Watching his movies, I feel safe as a viewer when he tells the story. This movie isn’t super clear but it’s clear enough, and I love the layers here. Brilliant

This movie was pretty good, I loved Luke and Owen Wilson throughout, and the comedy was pretty funny. You could tell this was directed by Wes Anderson even though it was his first film, and overall it was pretty damn good. The plot was a little weird and hard to follow at times but the ending was amazing. Overall a solid 7.5/10
